We started OSLO to fill a gap in how people live—not just where they sleep. Most housing options in D.C. were either overpriced studios or chaotic group houses with mismatched furniture and revolving roommates. We believed there had to be something better.
OSLO is that better option: fully designed, purpose-built apartments that offer private bedrooms and bathrooms, generous shared spaces, and a feeling of home. Not converted rowhouses. Not chopped-up floorplans. Every OSLO building was created from scratch to make shared living feel elevated, functional, and peaceful.
Our first property filled up in weeks. Residents made lifelong friendships. Some met their partners. It’s been that way ever since.
